Project Stakeholder Consultation on “Study to Identify Hurdles for Independent Indian Health Service Personnel in Selected Countries under GATS Mode 4”

Project Stakeholder Consultation under the project was organised to bring together the project stakeholders to discuss the draft research paper prepared under the project and elicit their views to help in finalising the draft papers.

This event organised at India International Centre was designed to involve representatives of relevant project stakeholders from all four states (Delhi, Kerala, Chennai and Mumbai). The deliberations was organised in a structured form to ensure that there was ample time for debate and discussions.

Representatives from recruitment agencies of each project states, research institutions like Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER), The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), and also representatives from WHO India office and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt of India participated in this half day long consultation.
