Aid is an international development agency whose aim is to fight
poverty worldwide. Formed in 1972, for over 30 years it is growing
and expanding helping over 13 million of the world's poorest and
most disadvantaged people in 42 countries worldwide.
Asian Development Bank (ADB)
Development Bank headquartered in Manila is dedicated to poverty
reduction in Asia and the Pacific. ADB is owned and financed by its
member countries and offers low interest loans, guarantees, grants,
private sector investments and knowledge and advice to help build
infrastructure and improve essential health and education services.

Centre for WTO Studies (CWS)
Centre for WTO Studies was set up in the year 1999 to be a permanent
repository of WTO negotiations-related knowledge and documentation.
It was also envisaged that the Centre would evolve into a research
unit with interest in trade in general and WTO in particular to
finally develop into an independent think tank in the area.

Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) is Canada’s lead
agency for development assistance. It has a mandate to support
sustainable development in developing countries in order to reduce
poverty and to contribute to a more secure, equitable, and

It also provides technical assistance to help governments in the
social and economic development of their countries.
International (CI) supports, links and represents consumer groups
and agencies all over the world. It has a membership of over 230
organisations in 113 countries.
Department for International Development
Department for International Development (DFID) is the part of the
UK Government that manages Britain's aid to poor countries and works
to get rid of extreme poverty.
Directorate General on Foreign Trade
Directorate General on Foreign Trade is an attached office of the
Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, responsible
for implementing the National Foreign Trade Policy with the main
objective to promote Indian exports.
